Overview
Masterclasses are led by Dawid Konotey-Ahulu CBE DL, Founder of Spellbound. His four-decade career has spanned the highest levels of financial services, including leading structured solutions teams at NatWest Capital Markets and Merrill Lynch, co-founding Redington, one of the UK’s leading pensions consultancies, and founding Mallowstreet, the pensions industry’s leading intelligence platform. He brings hard-won lessons from building and leading organisations directly into the room.
The Business Pitching Masterclass is built on three foundations every great pitch needs: clarity, relevance, and passion. At its core, you’ll learn to map your Big Idea to the Golden Sequence, the structure that runs through every pitch that has ever worked. Whether you’re seeking investment, pitching internally, or making the case for something you believe in, you’ll leave with a framework you can use immediately and the confidence to deliver it.
You have an idea. Now learn to make people believe in it.

Spellbound works with organisations that believe communication is a leadership skill. We design and deliver public speaking programmes tailored to your team’s needs, from early-career professionals building confidence, to senior leaders refining their executive presence. In just three sessions, participants develop the tools, self-awareness and story-led communication skills that drive real performance. We tackle the confidence gap head on, creating safe spaces where employees can practise, make mistakes, and grow. Our programmes fit into the rhythms of organisational life without disruption. The skills participants leave with are lasting across every level of your business.
At Spellbound our community programmes are where our mission finds its fullest expression. We work with individuals navigating barriers to confidence and create spaces for voices that often go unheard. We support young people from all backgrounds, prison communities and grassroots organisations. Opening the door to those who have never had access to this level of training. In sessions shaped by trust and vulnerability, participants often discover that their lived experience is something to draw strength from. For many, our flagship course offers a quiet turning point, and a moment of recognition that their voice carries power. Our mission is to keep this work open and accessible to those who need it most, regardless of background, circumstance or means.
Spellbound is delivering its Flagship Programme to mentors from Empowered Voices, supporting them to build confidence in their voice and develop the skills to communicate their ideas and stories with clarity and impact.
The Business Pitching Masterclass equips participants with the skills to present business concepts and personal projects with confidence and persuasion. Supervised by Dawid Konotey-Ahulu.
